Church life
As in every church, there are plenty of opportunities for you to put your talents and gifts to work! Below is a list of some of the areas you might like to offer to help out.
We are very blessed with an extremely talented Worship Group who lead our singing and praise. If you can play an instrument and feel God is calling you to share your talents, please come and join us. Please have a chat with Brian (our Worship Leader).
If you are blessed with green fingers and would like to assist with the upkeep of the church's small garden, this one is for you! John Lester would be most pleased with any offers of help.
We are always pleased to welcome people with a heart for working with our young people. If you are keen to help, you will need to be DBS-checked and agree to our Safeguarding Policies. Please speak to one of the Lighthouse Keepers.
This is a very important part of our ministry as a church – to meet and greet folk as they arrive for our services. If you feel this is an area you would like to help with, please let us know.
We serve tea, coffee and biscuits after our services. If you would like to help make and serve the teas (it is a great way to get to know people), it's all on a 'rota' basis, so only 5 or 6 times a year.
We are very much in need of expertise in this area, so if you are a computer wizard we would love to hear from you.
